Healthcare AI company Prodoc AI has raised an undisclosed amount in a seed funding round led by Dr A. Velumani Family Office, with participation from Dr Kunal Shet and Parth D. Bhasin, who are also existing users of the platform.

The company will use the capital to advance its Agentic AI capabilities, expand its software integrations and build AI agents for hospital workflows spanning care coordination, patient engagement, operations and revenue processes.

Founded by Asit Kumar Vidyarthi and Raghuvamshi Thakur, Prodoc AI is building what it calls a Patient Journey OS, an intelligence layer designed to connect the multiple systems hospitals use across departments, including hospital information systems, electronic medical records, CRM, billing, telephony and diagnostics.

The platform is designed to work with existing infrastructure rather than requiring hospitals to replace their current systems.

Its platform currently supports workflows across patient acquisition, appointment conversion, OPD intelligence, care coordination, follow-ups, partner and referral management, Voice AI and general hospital operations.

“A patient may interact with a hospital through a call centre, WhatsApp, OPD, diagnostics, pharmacy or a follow-up team, but these interactions often live in different systems,” Vidyarthi said. “The opportunity with AI is to connect that context and make the entire journey more intelligent.”

Prodoc AI said it operates across more than 100 hospitals, processes over one million patient engagements a month and supports more than 50 software integrations.

“In healthcare, getting leads is relatively easy, however converting these leads into revenue is tedious. Many leads get lost midway due to process fatigue. As a result, providers struggle with higher customer acquisition costs while facilities remain underused. Converting ‘lead to revenue’ needs intelligence or AI where, I believe Prodoc AI can reduce the customer acquisition costs by 10 to 25 per cent based on lead quality and pricing of services by enabling one resource to deliver the output of five,” said Dr. Velumani.
