Prime Industries raises ₹11.86 crore from Omega Seika Mobility founder Uday Narang

Prime Industries has raised ₹11.86 crore in funding from Uday Narang, founder of Omega Seika Mobility.

The BSE-listed company looks to expand its presence across defence, nuclear and precision manufacturing.

The fresh capital will support its growth plans, including the proposed establishment of an R&D and incubation centre for its Special Product Division.

Definedge raises ₹22 crore pre-series A funding

Definedge Securities, a fintech and brokerage firm, has raised ₹22 crore in a pre-series A funding round which saw participation from existing backers Nitin Agarwal and D Prasad, alongside new investors Anant Jain and Sachin Kasera.

Definedge will deploy the fresh capital across margin funding, marketing and distribution, product development in AI and automation, and its technology, service and operational infrastructure.

The company also plans to scale its flagship platforms, including Zone, Opstra, Algostra and Momentify.

Protein Pantry raises ₹9 crore seed funding led by Sharrp Ventures

Protein Pantry, a high-protein vegetarian frozen food brand, has raised ₹9 crore in a seed round led by Sharrp Ventures, with participation from Peercheque, Consumer Collective by Atrium and Indian Silicon Valley Capital.

Angel investors include Varun Alagh of Honasa, Rishubh Satiya of Plix, Avnish Anand of CaratLane, Arush Chopra of Just Herbs and Saurabh Munjal of Lahori Zeera, among others.

The company plans to deploy the fresh capital primarily towards setting up and scaling its manufacturing unit, while continuing to invest in R&D and supply chain. The balance will go towards marketing and working capital.

Protein Pantry also plans to expand its product range into new formats over the next 12 to 24 months.

Goa-based members-only lifestyle management company Indulge Concierge has raised $1 million in a pre-series A funding round, with participation from existing and new members, as it plans to expand into international markets and increase investment in artificial intelligence.

The fresh capital will support its expansion into Malaysia, South Africa, Dubai and the US, while also funding further development of its AI capabilities.

Brahma AI has secured $150 million in a funding round led by Multiples Alternate Asset Management, with the investment firm contributing $100 million through the issuance of preferred shares.

AI coding startup ByteAsk has raised $1 million in a pre-seed round led by Y Combinator, with participation from Entrepreneur First and angel investors from global quantitative trading firms.

The fresh capital will primarily go towards infrastructure and product development, with ByteAsk planning to hire engineers across San Francisco and India.

The startup will also invest in GPU compute and training data, while building enterprise-grade security, privacy, and on-premises infrastructure for customers in sensitive industries.

Lab-grown diamond jewellery startup ONYA has raised ₹12.5 crore in a pre-series A funding round led by Divisa Family Office, with participation from existing investor Zeropearl VC.

The company plans to use the latest funding to open more stores, initially focusing on Pune and Hyderabad, while expanding its online presence and personalisation capabilities. It will also invest in research and development around jewellery design and manufacturing.

The round follows ONYA’s ₹5.5 crore seed funding, which also saw participation from angel investors including the founders of MyGate and UrbanVault.

Dextr AI, an AI agent platform for the hospitality industry, has raised $6.7 million in a seed round led by Elevation Capital, with participation from Foundation Capital.
